Last Sunday, 2 March 2025, Cambrils hosted the 16th edition of the Grup Oliva Motor Half Marathon. This is one of the Costa Daurada’s most prominent sporting events.
The day began at 10:00 am, with the 10K and 21K races starting from Plaça de l’Ajuntament de Cambrils, led by the MINI Aceman, a fully electric vehicle. Known for its flat and spectacular route along the seafront, the course provided participants with the perfect setting for achieving new personal bests.

Beyond the main races, the event included activities for all ages. Younger participants could also enjoy the event thanks to the children’s races and entertainment. The organisers also stood out by offering high-quality services to runners, including refreshment stations, timing, finish-line photos, showers and medical assistance.
