The New Honda CR-V is the Ultimate SUV

The arrival of the New Honda CR-V is accompanied by multiple improvements designed to deliver a sporty, comfortable and safe driving experience. For the first time in Europe, the sixth generation of this model features the Honda SENSING 360 driver assistance and safety system.

In addition, this iconic Honda model will be available with both a full hybrid powertrain (e:HEV) and a plug-in hybrid powertrain (e:PHEV). Honda is advancing its electrification strategy by offering the perfect combination of power, performance and fuel efficiency.

New e:PHEV system

Honda’s first plug-in hybrid in Europe introduces a dynamic solution for driving on the road. The innovative e:PHEV powertrain includes a higher-capacity battery compared with the e:HEV system, providing an all-electric range of up to 82 kilometres. The greater electric assistance provided by the e:PHEV system results in impressive efficiency, with emissions of just 18 g/km and fuel consumption of 0.8 l/100 km when the battery is fully charged. Even after the battery has been depleted, the New Honda CR-V will continue to deliver exceptional performance, retaining the capabilities of the e:HEV hybrid.

Safety with Honda SENSING 360

The upgraded Honda SENSING 360 safety system offers innovative new features, including a front cross-traffic alert system designed to help prevent frontal collisions at intersections with limited visibility. A traffic sign recognition system has also been implemented on the instrument panel, informing the driver as early as possible and thereby facilitating decision-making behind the wheel.

Another highlight among the new features of the Honda CR-V’s safety system is the traffic jam assist. This reduces the driver’s workload in heavy traffic, helping the vehicle remain in its lane. In line with the measures designed to improve comfort behind the wheel, an active lane-change assist has been incorporated and is activated via the indicator, ensuring the vehicle maintains a safe position depending on the traffic density in the adjacent lane.

Finally, the New CR-V features the Honda Parking Pilot system, which automatically takes control of the vehicle to park in and exit the parking space selected by the driver with just a touch of the screen.

Imposing design with premium finishes

The new Honda CR-V’s design enhances its character. The exterior modifications reinforce its sporty styling and establish its identity through the front grille. The e:HEV and e:PHEV versions are distinguished by exclusive designs tailored to the character of each model line. While the e:HEV features a piano-black grille, the e:PHEV version incorporates larger hexagonal shapes to emphasise its sporty appearance.
